IND vs WI Test Series 2023, India vs West Indies 1st Test match: Team India will be licking their wounds after the loss to Australia in the recenty-concluded World Test Championship Final and the squad will look to hit the transition button in the Carribean on Thursday. Skipper Rohit sharma confirmed that Yashasvi Jaiswal will debut in the first of the two-Test series in Dominica and Shubman Gill Gill will bat at number three, as India look to revamp the squad in the absence of Test mainstay Cheteshwar Pujara. Regarding the team combination for the first Test, he also informed that both Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin will play alongside three pacers.
On the other hand, Windies will look to bounce back after their shock elimination from the ODI World Cup Qualifiers and be eager to prove that they are still relevant in world cricket.
