Eyeing Dalit votes, BJP SC Morcha will organise Samvidhan Gaurav Yatra in 75 districts

With an eye on Dalit votes, BJP’s SC Morcha will organise Samvidhan Gaurav Yatra starting from November 26 to December 6 in different parts of the country.75 rallies will be organized under the program where party senior leaders and SC leaders will participate across the country.Out of these 75 rallies, 20 rallies will be organised in UP alone, highlighting the focus on the state which goes to the polls early next year.

The BJP is eyeing a big chunk of Dalit votes in the upcoming elections, and through the program party leaders will highlight the work done for SC community by the BJP governments and the SC representation given in the union and state cabinets. The program will be initiated by BJP national president JP Nadda from Manipur on November 26.“The program will end on December 6 on the death anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar,” Lalsingh Arya, BJP SC Morcha president told ET. “Our party and the government have given maximum representation to the SC community and we would try to connect with them through our leaders.”In UP, BJP leaders such as Baby Rani Maurya, Dushyant Gautam, Bhanu Pratap Verma, Ramashankar Katheria, Kamlesh Paswan, Kanta Kardam, Rajbir Diler, Upendra Rawat, BP Saroj and other SC community leaders will participate in the yatra in different districts.The yatra will have an Ambedkar Rath and a copy of the Constitution upon which people will formaly take an oath of allegiance.During the program important people from the SC community would also be honoured. Sources tell ET that UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath, deputy chief ministers Keshav Maurya and Dinesh Sharma, state BJP president Swatantra Dev Singh would also participate in the yatra and their program is being finalised.
