Congress, RJD protect infiltrators coming from abroad: PM Modi takes a jibe at oppn in Bihar rally

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday alleged that Congress and RJD conduct yatras to save infiltrators who have come from abroad, adding that they put resources and security of Bihar and the country at stake.

“…for vote bank, the people of Congress, RJD and its ecosystem are busy advocating for infiltrators, saving them and shamelessly raising slogans and taking out yatras to save infiltrators who have come from abroad,” Modi said.

Modi stated that the central government is committed to drive out infiltrators that opposition parties patronise in Assam, Bihar and Bengal.

Speaking at a rally in Purnea of Bihar, the prime minister said that the state has always played major role in country’s development, safety and security.”Congress and RJD have not only threatened the honour of Bihar but also the identity of Bihar,” PM Modi said. “Today, a huge demographic crisis has arisen due to infiltrators in Seemanchal and Eastern India. People of Bihar, Bengal, Assam and many states are worried about the safety of their sisters and daughters. That is why I have announced the Demography Mission from the Red Fort.”

“…Today, from this land of Purnea, I want to explain one thing to these people clearly. RJD and Congress people, listen to me with open ears. Whoever is an infiltrator will have to go. It is the firm responsibility of the NDA to stop infiltration,” Modi affirmed.

PM Modi visited Bihar on Monday to launch multiple development projects worth Rs 36,000 crore. He also inaugurated a newly developed terminal building at Purnea airport, the first flight on the Purnea-Kolkata route.

Other development projects include 3×800 MW thermal power facility worth Rs 25,000 crore at Pirpainti, Bhagalpur, Phase 1 of the Kosi-Mechi Intra-State River Link Project worth over Rs 2,680 crore, and rail line between Bikramshila – Katareah, worth over Rs 2,170 crore.
