Nationalist Congress Party Minister Nawab Malik on Thursday leveled a serious allegation that Narcotics Control Bureau Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede had ‘framed’ his neighbor, an IPS officer’s son in a fake NDPS case. The NCP Minister said that Wankhede also has framed a relative of his former wife’s family in a NDPS case to prevent them from revealing the truths about Wankhede.“Sameer Dawood Wankhede had framed an IPS officer’s son who was their neighbour in a NDPS case. Wankhede did this after a fight between him and the IPS officer. The IPS officer’s son has filed a bail application claiming that there were no raids or seizures from his house (as claimed by the NCB) and his son was arrested from outside his home. The IPS officer is submitting CCTV footage of the building to show the same,” alleged Malik. He added, “This is not just the only case, he has been threatening his former wife’s family from speaking out the truth (about Wankhede’s religion). Through a drug peddler drugs were planted and a cousin brother of the girl’s family was arrested through the Anti Narcotics cell (of the state police). Wankhede is now threatening the girl’s family that the entire family would be arrested in a NDPS case.”
Malik said that Wankhede had allegedly threatened his former wife’s family that once booked in a NDPS case he would ensure that they would not be able to come out of jail. The NCP Minister said that he has submitted several proofs against Wankhede being a Muslim and fraudulently claiming that he was from the Scheduled caste to get an IRS job.
