‘What is CBI doing,’ asks TMC’s Kunal Ghosh on Kolkata hospital case probe

Amid the investigation into the rape and murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, TMC leader Kunal Ghosh on Sunday questioned the CBI’s line of questioning and the fact that only one arrest has been made so far.

“The rape-murder case must be solved quickly, till now there has been only one arrest and that too was done by Kolkata Police. What is CBI doing?…as it is getting delayed, politics is going on…,” Ghosh alleged.

Meanwhile, the Polygraph test of Sanjoy Roy, the main accused in the alleged rape and murder of a postgraduate trainee at a hospital in Kolkata, will be held tomorrow.

A senior CBI official said the test could not be held today due to some technical reason and lack of arrangements done by jail administration. While polygraph tests of all others, including former R.G. Kar Medical College principal Sandip Ghosh is underway at CBI office in Kolkata.
